CNC Machinist/ Programmer
Steele & Associates is seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist/Programmer. This is a contract position located in Boligee, AL. The position is slated to start ASAP and has an estimated duration of 10-12 months.
The ideal candidates will have the following required
Experience:
Oil Field Experience
Machine threads on Subs or Pipe Joints
Can Read Blueprints
Experience with Haas Model TL4, Lathe
Cut API oil field Connections
Rethread
Inspect work coming off of machines
Assist in figuring out ways to make production more efficient
Organize and maintain tooling for his work area
Keep a neat and well organized shop
Assist in giving direction and helping any machine operators
This position needs a very flexible person that has extensive experience with CNC machining, and a fair amount of knowledge of other duties in the Machine Shop. This is a hands on position that will require someone who can get their hands dirty, has a good memory, likes responsibility, and can quickly and effectively solve problems. Intensive CNC programming is a must have.
Competitive wages, Health Insurance, 401k Retirement program, and a daily Per Diem offered as part of the compensation package.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
